A downloadable game

Satchelings is a structure for writing and reading stories that are one page or shorter.

It has potential to be entertaining both for lonely people and for those with many friends gathered 'round.

Update: I don't usually go back and work on my games, but I suppose story-structures are a different matter altogether. I've decided to focus more of my attention on this idea, so here is a primitive "Satchelings Helper" I made in React. It can be made more robust, but at some point, it would require an entire language model. Let's keep things as simple as they can be.

Satchelings Helper

Paste any Satchelings story in the left-most text area. Then press the "Tokenize" button. This will convert the plain text into interactive words.

When you click/tap a word, it will be shown above the "Keep" button. It will say "Owned" instead, if you already have that word in your satchel. Pressing "Keep" will add it to your satchel, and if the word appears again later in the story, it will tell you of your failure ahead of time by automatically adding a red X beside the word you just attempted to steal. Also, the program highlights the word "satchel", just because.
