Meeku
This was inspired by a drawing from a girl I liked in 3rd grade. It was also an attempt to remedy the naturally-occurring problem of a "runaway leader" in racing games. I thought that with some careful math, I could keep both players fairly close to one another throughout the race, without resorting to the rubberbanding technique of helping a player when they fall behind. I learned that I cannot, in fact, remedy this problem consistently, since there is no guarantee that the expected value will be the actual value. Perhaps rubberbanding is best, since it is grounded in how the game is playing out at the moment.
I'll consider this one more of a learning experience
